Patrick J. Reynolds

Patrick was born and raised in Burlington County, NJ.  He is a 2001 graduate of Delran High School.  He attended Seton Hall University, before going to funeral service program at Mercer County Community College where he graduated in 2006.

Patrick’s career in the funeral industry began in February 2004 at the Sweeney Funeral Home in Riverside, NJ.  He served his apprenticeship under Dennis C. McGee Jr. (who is now his business partner, and cousin by marriage).  Patrick received his New Jersey Funeral Directors License in 2007 and he went on to work in several funeral homes throughout the state in both full time and part time capacities.  Patrick became an owner and the manager of the Christy Funeral Home in January 2023 after the funeral home transitioned from 125 years of Christy family ownership.

In 2006, Patrick attended courses through the Insight Institute, becoming one of the earliest Certified Funeral Celebrants in New Jersey.  Patrick also received his New Jersey Life Insurance Producer’s License in 2015, and then received his Certified Crematory Operator certification in 2020.  He is a member of the West Jersey Funeral Directors Association, currently serving as 1st Vice President, New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association, and National Funeral Directors Association.

Patrick served for 14 years as a volunteer firefighter in New Jersey.  Beginning with Delran Fire Co. #2 in Delran, NJ in September 2006, Patrick achieved the position of Assistant Treasurer, before leaving in 2008 for work commitments in North Jersey.  A graduate of the Burlington County Fire Academy in Spring 2007, Patrick was awarded the Academy’s Fire Cadet of the Year for calendar year 2007.   Patrick joined the Sicklerville Volunteer Fire Company Station 25-7, Winslow Twp. Fire Department in 2011.  He served as President of Sicklerville Volunteer Fire Company for 5 years before being Patrick promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in January 2021, becoming station commander and acting Captain of Station 25-7 in January 2022.  In his fire department duties, Patrick was a State of NJ Level 1 Fire Officer and Level 1 Fire Instructor, before retiring in September 2022. He is a member of the Greater Millville Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Trustees and the Executive Board as the Finance Chair, is a parishioner of All Saints Parish, Millville, and is a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1436, Delran, NJ.

Dennis C. McGee Jr.

Dennis C. McGee, Jr., was born and raised in Blackwood, NJ and graduated from Highland High School in 1995 followed by the Mercer County Community College Mortuary Science program in 1999, graduating as Vice President of the class. Dennis is a New Jersey and Pennsylvania licensed Funeral Director & Celebrant. He is a member of; the Burlington County and Philadelphia Funeral Directors Associations and had served as Secretary. Dennis had been certified as a; Cana certified crematory operator, Certified Funeral Service Practitioner and Certified Pre-Planning Consultant who achieved the National Funeral Directors Association Pursuit of Excellence Award in 2005 & 2006. He is a published author and frequent contributor to the Funeral Service community. Currently, Dennis is a board member and business agent for the Aqua String Band in Philadelphia, a member and current President of the Audubon Lions Club and the Gloucester City-Brooklawn Rotary Club. Dennis previously served as; Past Grand Knight of the St. John Neumann Knights of Columbus, Council 1436 in Delran, a Riverside Youth Athletic Association softball coach, Riverside Volunteer Fire Co Firefighter and as a member of the Riverside Business Association and the Riverside, Delran, Delanco Rotary Club.
