Jacqueline Pettit Obituary

Jacqueline E. Pettit, departed this life on Monday, February 23rd, 2026. Jacqueline was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She spent the majority of her life in Millville, NJ, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and warmth.

Born in Bourne, MA, Jacqueline was a devoted housekeeper at Trump Castle in Atlantic City, NJ, where she worked diligently for many years. Her dedication to her work was only surpassed by her love for her family and her passion for capturing life's moments through photography. Jacqueline was also an avid fan of Elvis Presley, whose music brought her much joy.

Jacqueline is survived by her loving children: Robert Shelton, Berlin Jack Shelton, Tammy Parent (Dave Redden Sr.), William Pettit (April), and Robert Pettit Jr. (Monica Lara Tamayo). She leaves behind a legacy of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory. Jacqueline is also survived by her dear siblings, Darlene Watson and William Watson (April).

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Watson, and her beloved spouse, Robert Pettit Sr.

A graveside service to honor Jacqueline's life will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park in Millville, NJ, on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at 11:00 am. Family, friends, and all whose lives Jacqueline touched are invited to attend and celebrate her life. Jacqueline's family invites you to share your memories and condolences on her tribute wall, as they find comfort in the love and support of those who knew her.
